Houston/SugarLand Concert Review

My first time concert for all 3 artist …… A. Stephanie was phenomenal, energetic and her great voice is still the same B. Gladys was very professional. Her mic was off and she kept singing as if it was on…Voice is still the same, great production .. For 78, she gave her best and did the damn thang! C. Disappointedly, I’m sad to say… it’s time to retire! .. Her performance was poor, she gave us 30 mins. , She distastefully crip walk/dance with her back up singer. The back up singer had on a black slit dress, with full tatted thunder thighs, looking like Cleo from “ Set it Off”! .. Then unexpectedly she had a DJ who played horribly, shouting at us like we are at a college party to a mix audience of 45- 60 plus! You can hear my section talking/murmured by surprise… Patti menopause her entire 30 mins, throwing two pair of shoes taking from the piano and asking for a towel UNPROFESSIONALLY. You can see her towel gofer dashing across the stage like he is Carl Lewis to give her the towel. Clearly she needed help, so she asked for crowd participation to give her some time to catch air! D. Patti should not been or be the headliner! Patti should be first, so she can be in bed by 9:00, then Stephanie and allow Gladys to close it out! At least I wouldn’t mine the money spent I’d Patti did her 30 mins at 8:00! E. Folks on FB ( Houston) all agreed! F. Since Patti disappointed Houston/SugarLand, she need to redeem herself, come back and give us another 20 -30 mins for free for ticket holders only! IJS….. I would if I was her especially since this show was an originally postponed! G. My mom is 75 around Patti’s era.. she said she never did like Patti even back then.. She said her performance was always weird …….Just like her pies, this is it! Throw in that towel you requested for Patti!
